Russian news agency TASS reported on Wednesday that "four police personnel were killed and 18 others injured in Ukrainian shelling using the Himars rocket system on a police station in the Russian-controlled part of the Kherson region." TASS quoted a local police spokesperson stating that "five police officers sustained serious injuries in the attack, which occurred on Tuesday in the village of Yuvilen." Fighting in the Kherson region has intensified in recent months, as Ukrainian forces have conducted several incursions into the eastern bank of the Dnipro River controlled by Russia.
