Lebanon will face Jamaica in the second global group of the Davis Cup on September 15 and 16, at the main court of the Lebanese Automobile and Touring Club in Kaslik. The event is organized by the Lebanese Tennis Federation under the supervision of the International Tennis Federation.
The Lebanese Federation, led by Oliver Faisal, has set up a preparatory program for the national team players in coordination with the team captain, coach Fadi Youssef, who has been technically overseeing the Lebanese Davis Cup team for six years. The federation has appointed coach Johnny Abdullah as the team's director.
The Lebanese team consists of players Benjamin Hassan (ranked 200 in the world), Hadi Habib (ranked 411 globally), Hassan Ibrahim, Mustafa Nator, Louay Maki, and player Zahir Farhat.
Additionally, the Lebanese Tennis Federation will hold a press conference at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 13, at the host club to announce all details related to the match between Lebanon and Jamaica. The draw will be conducted at 11:30 AM on Thursday, September 14, at the same venue. The official opening ceremony will take place at 12:00 PM on Friday, September 15, at the main court of the Lebanese Automobile and Touring Club, followed by two singles matches on the first day.
