Fire Breaks Out in a Government Hospital in Tripoli

A fire broke out inside the Tripoli Government Hospital in the Al-Quba area of Tripoli. Firefighting teams from the Tripoli Fire Brigade and the Civil Defense promptly arrived at the scene and managed to control the fire, with damages limited to material losses and no injuries reported.

Later, the management of Tripoli Government Hospital issued the following statement: "The management of Tripoli Government Hospital wishes to clarify that the fire that broke out on Thursday morning occurred in the hospital’s external yard due to rising temperatures. The hospital immediately contacted the relevant authorities, who quickly acted to contain and extinguish the fire." The statement added, "The hospital management strongly denies all rumors circulating on social media that the fire affected 'oxygen cylinders and diesel generators.' The hospital also thanks the Lebanese Army leadership, the Civil Defense, and all hospital staff for their prompt response and assistance in extinguishing the fire before it spread."
