The body of Father Eli Kasrawani (74 years old) was found in his home's garden today, Wednesday, in Bskinta. Forensic evidence teams were immediately called in, and they are currently investigating to clarify what happened.
In detail, Monsignor Abdo Abou Kasm, the episcopal vicar for public relations in Sidon and the director of the Catholic Media Center, revealed in a conversation with "Wardenna" that Father Kasrawani had no enmity with anyone and was known for his good character. He noted that Father Kasrawani visited a doctor yesterday.
He added, "After conflicting information regarding the cause of death, the forensic doctor confirmed that Father Kasrawani suffered a heart attack that led to his death; it is not true that his body was mutilated or showed signs of assault or blood."
Father Kasrawani was a musician, researcher, doctor, and university professor, and he had no enmities; he belonged to the Maronite Archdiocese of Sidon.
