Fatalities and Injuries from Hospital Fire in Germany

One person has died and several others were injured today, Friday, due to a fire that broke out in a hospital in the city of Oldenburg, Lower Saxony, Germany. A spokesperson for the fire department reported that 22 people were injured, 6 of whom are in serious condition, noting that the fire ignited late on the third floor of the hospital and spread to the patient rooms, while approximately 140 rescue workers were on duty.
