Zelensky Survives at Least 5 Assassination Attempts

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky indicated that he “has survived at least five assassination attempts since the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine.” This was stated in his remarks to The Sun magazine, where he said, “I believe there have been 5 or 6 attempts at least.” In response to a journalist's question about whether Ukraine could take the opportunity to "kill" Russian President Vladimir Putin, Zelensky replied, “This is war, and Ukraine has every right to defend its territory.” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov denied reports regarding Russian authorities' plans to kill Zelensky.
