Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky praised the decision of European Union leaders on Thursday to start membership talks with Kyiv, describing it as a "victory" for his country and for Europe. Zelensky stated in a post on "X": "This is a victory for Ukraine. A victory for all of Europe. A victory that motivates, inspires, and strengthens."
