Lebanese Kataeb Party leader MP Sami Gemayel met today, Wednesday, with European Union Ambassador Sandra de Wall during an introductory visit. They discussed the latest developments in the region and their impact on Lebanon, as well as ways to protect the country and relations with the European Union. Gemayel emphasized to his guest, according to a statement from the Kataeb Party, the party's position advocating for the protection of Lebanon and preventing any internal or external party from dragging it into regional conflicts or unwanted wars. He highlighted the importance of implementing international resolutions, particularly Resolution 1701. Gemayel also stressed the necessity of revitalizing institutions and proceeding with the election of a President of the Republic, marking the beginning of a process to renew governance so that the state becomes the primary guarantor of its security and its people's safety.
