The draw has placed Lebanon against Japan in the Davis Cup tennis competition, with the match set to take place in Lebanon between February 2 and 4. The draw was conducted at the headquarters of the International Tennis Federation in London. Lebanon, buoyed by a decisive 4-0 victory over Jamaica last weekend and an impressive performance from its players led by the "trio" of team manager Johnny Abdallah, captain Fadi Youssef, and coach Shawn Karam, aims to return to its rightful place in the world group. The winner of the match between Lebanon (ranked 48th in the world) and Japan (ranked 24th) will automatically rise to elite status. This encounter is part of 24 international matches taking place from February 2 to 4 in the qualifying rounds of the first and second world groups. In this context, the Lebanese Tennis Federation, led by Olivier Faisal, will prepare a plan for the match against Japan in coordination with the team's administrative and technical staff.
