## UNRWA Director-General: We Are on the Brink of Collapse in Gaza

Philippe Lazzarini, the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), stated today, Sunday, that “stripping Palestinians of their humanity has allowed the international community to tolerate ongoing Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip.” He revealed that “the UNRWA is on the verge of collapse in Gaza,” emphasizing the “need for an immediate ceasefire to end the hell on the ground in Gaza.”
