Al-Farzali: We Are Facing a Path That Will Not Be Short

The former Deputy Speaker of the House, Elie Al-Farzali, indicated that "the French message to the deputies was in its natural position regarding the content, regardless of the form." In an interview with "Voice of Lebanon," Al-Farzali confirmed that "French envoy Jean-Yves Le Drian wanted to understand from the deputies what the required tasks for the next President of the Republic are, and thus when this is understood, the name will be chosen either consensually or through election." Al-Farzali pointed out that "we are on a path that will not be short, and hope remains in the window that opened for dialogue between Hezbollah and the leader of the Free Patriotic Movement, Deputy Gebran Bassil."
