The Saudi Al-Ittihad club is preparing for a decisive match against Iraq's Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya next Monday, as part of the fourth round of the AFC Champions League 2023-2024. Before facing Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya at the "Franso Hariri" stadium in Erbil, rumors circulated that the great French star Karim Benzema, the striker for Al-Ittihad, would not be able to enter Iraq, thus missing the match. However, sports journalist Manar Shaheen announced that Benzema would participate against Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya on Monday as scheduled, according to Samarra Iraqi TV.
Shaheen revealed through his official account on the "X" platform that the 35-year-old French forward has officially obtained a visa to enter Iraqi territory.
