The Assistant for Scientific, Technological, and Knowledge Economy Affairs to the President of the Islamic Republic, Rouhollah Dehghani Firouz Abadi, reported that Iran ranks 17th globally in scientific production and the publication of articles on artificial intelligence; however, it ranks 78th globally in usage. In a statement to reporters on the sidelines of the Technology Development and Exchange Forum in the gaming industry on Sunday, Firouz Abadi noted that Iran has a serious program in the field of artificial intelligence, and the President personally supports this ongoing plan. He explained that there are plans to elevate Iran to the 10th position globally in artificial intelligence in terms of both scientific research and usage.
