The military spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, "Abu Ubaida," revealed that the Israeli army targeted a group of Israeli prisoners today, Friday. He stated, "Over the past 24 hours, Al-Qassam fighters have managed to completely or partially destroy 21 military vehicles in all combat fronts in the Gaza Strip, and they thwarted an attempt to rescue the captured soldier 'Saar Baruch,' which led to his death along with the death and injury of several other Israeli prisoners due to the savage bombardment of Gaza areas. They targeted the invading Israeli forces and vehicles positioned in their deployment areas with anti-fortification shells and anti-personnel explosives, engaging them from zero distance and causing confirmed casualties. They also detonated several tunnel openings and homes against enemy soldiers, struck military gatherings with mortars and short-range rockets, and directed intensive rocket fire towards 'Tel Aviv' and other targets."
