The Al-Ahed football team, champions of Lebanon, suffered their second loss in the AFC Cup against their host, Omani Al-Nahda, with a score of 1-2 (first half 0-2). The match took place this evening at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in the capital, Muscat, during the fifth round of Group A. This defeat eliminated Al-Ahed, the 2019 tournament holders, from continuing in the tournament, following their previous setback against the Syrian Al-Fotuwa with a score of 0-1. Al-Ahed had started their campaign in the current edition with a victory over Al-Nahda, winning 2-1 in Muscat.
