Emirati Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Thani Al-Zeyoudi, indicated on Tuesday that "the UAE hopes to be removed at the beginning of next year from what is called the 'Grey List' of countries under special scrutiny by the Financial Action Task Force." The Financial Action Task Force, which is based in Paris and focuses on monitoring financial crimes, added the UAE to its list last year.
