Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited today, Wednesday, the patients who were evacuated from Gaza to receive treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center. They are the first group of forty-one cancer patients that the center will receive, which continues its efforts to bring in more individuals battling cancer from Gaza after the only cancer treatment hospital in Gaza stopped operating. Queen Rania, accompanied by Princess Ghida Talal, Chair of the Board of Trustees of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center, Dr. Asem Mansour, the Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Center, and Nasreen Qatamish, the Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, checked on the health of the children from Gaza, inquired about the condition and safety of their families, and listened to the medical staff about their health and psychological status, and the care and treatment provided to them.
