Deputy Ibrahim Mymeina stated, after a meeting of the fact-finding committee derived from the Committee on Public Works, Transport, Energy, and Water in the House of Representatives, that "the initial study focused on the key areas of the fact-finding mission starting with the issue of the terms of reference regarding the contract and how 'incarpet' was able to extort the public facility, and how the public facility was unjustly halted.” He added, “The third area relates to the contract and the awarding process; there was discussion among the deputies and proposals regarding this methodology, and everyone expressed the need to expedite the fact-finding process and ensure transparency, keeping the public opinion aligned with this committee. There will be a speeding up of the process, and we agreed to draft a work methodology for the committee to be approved within the committee.” This committee is tasked with investigating the comprehensive system related to issuing market licenses, vehicle registration licenses, electronic monitoring, and registration plates.
