Today, Thursday, Prime Minister Najib Mikati met with the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Joanna Fronteska, at the Grand Serail. During the meeting, Fronteska thanked the Lebanese government for its positions and adherence to international resolutions, including Resolution 1701, and for its call for a ceasefire and an end to the war in Gaza. She also noted President Mikati's call for a resolution to the Arab-Israeli conflict within new frameworks based on international understanding, ensuring the Palestinian people's right to a decent life. She also discussed the upcoming session on November 22, convened by the Security Council in New York, emphasizing that it would address increased humanitarian assistance. Additionally, she congratulated the government on its emergency plan.
