The Kremlin stated today that it believes the change in the commander of the Ukrainian armed forces will not impact the outcome of what Russia refers to as the "special military operation" in Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced yesterday the appointment of Colonel General Oleksandr Syrsky as the new chief of the armed forces, replacing General Valerii Zaluzhnyi.
