A patrol from the State Security Office in Dhour al-Shweir arrested the Syrian citizen (A. K. S.) for promoting counterfeit currency. Approximately 10,000 in counterfeit dollars were found in his possession, and he has been handed over to the financial prosecutor for legal action.
