The Saudi Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority at the Al-Haditha border crossing has thwarted three attempts to smuggle more than 151,000 Captagon pills. The Authority stated that "customs found them hidden in vehicles that entered the Kingdom through the crossing." It clarified that in the first attempt, 43,000 Captagon pills were seized from inside the engine of one of the vehicles coming through the crossing. In the second attempt, 45,349 Captagon pills were discovered hidden inside the air tank located on the balance arms of the front tires of another vehicle. Meanwhile, a third attempt to smuggle 62,790 pills hidden inside the cooling engine of a vehicle was also foiled.
