Approach of 4 Small Boats to Ship in the Red Sea

A report from the British Maritime Trade Operations stated that four small boats approached a ship at the entrance to the Red Sea, 80 nautical miles northeast of Djibouti, on Tuesday. The agency described the incident as a "suspicious approach," noting that one of the boats sailed alongside the ship before moving away. There were between four and five people on board each small boat. The agency added that there were no reports of weapons being seen.
