Charles Arbid, the head of the "Renewal for the Nation" movement, indicated during his meeting with the head of the "Progressive Socialist" party, MP Taimour Jumblatt, in Clemenceau, that "the goal of our visit today is to deliver the first political paper announced by 'Renewal for the Nation.' It was an opportunity to discuss ways of cooperation, hoping that this paper would be a unifying document for all Lebanese." Arbid pointed out that "Renewal for the Nation" shares many titles and core national constants with the "Progressive Socialist" party and its leader, as well as the Democratic Gathering bloc, the most important being moderation in Lebanon, adherence to the Taif Agreement, and addressing the daily affairs of citizens. He mentioned that there was an agreement to continue meetings to expand dialogue, as there is no way out of the crisis except by finding solutions through constructive dialogue.
