Netanyahu: Israel is Committed to Achieving Its Objectives in the War as Fighting Resumes

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated today, Friday, that the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement (Hamas) did not agree to release more hostages in violation of the ceasefire conditions, and that Israel is committed to achieving its objectives as fighting resumes. Netanyahu's office said in a statement that Hamas did not release all the hostages as agreed and launched rockets at Israel. The statement read: "With the resumption of fighting, we confirm: the Israeli government is committed to achieving the objectives of the war, which are to free our hostages, eliminate Hamas, and ensure that Gaza will never again pose a threat to the people of Israel."
