Netanyahu's office said in a statement that Hamas did not release all the hostages as agreed and launched rockets at Israel. The statement read: "With the resumption of fighting, we confirm: the Israeli government is committed to achieving the objectives of the war, which are to free our hostages, eliminate Hamas, and ensure that Gaza will never again pose a threat to the people of Israel."
