The management of Baghdad International Airport issued a notice today, Monday, regarding the closure of the airport and the suspension of flights. The management stated in a statement that "Baghdad International Airport management would like to clarify to the public and our dear travelers regarding the closure of the airport for incoming and outgoing flights due to the extension of urgent maintenance work on runway -15L 33R." They indicated that "the closure is intended to complete the urgent maintenance until 10 PM today."
