Title: Minister Hamiye: Beirut Port and Airport Ready to Support Excavation Activities in Block 9

Minister of Public Works and Transport in the caretaker government, Ali Hamiye, emphasized during his meeting today in his office at the ministry with Romain de la Martinère, the General Director of Exploration and Production at Total, that "the port and the airport have become fully prepared and ready to support the company's work throughout the entire period of the excavation activities in Block 9." For his part, de la Martinère confirmed that "cooperation was a hallmark of the previous phase between the company and the ministry, as well as with the relevant administrations at Beirut Port and the airport, which will positively reflect on the commencement of the planned excavation operations."
