Gerritt Storm Halts Scottish League

The Scottish Professional Football League announced that Glasgow Rangers and Aberdeen had to postpone their matches scheduled for Wednesday due to the Gerritt storm preventing the visiting teams from traveling. The match between Glasgow Rangers and Ross County, which was set to take place at Ibrox Stadium, along with Aberdeen's match against Motherwell, has been postponed with no new dates set for either. The A9 highway in Scotland experienced snowfall, rain, and strong winds, leading to closures and disruptions in some areas along the route. Rangers stated on their social media account on X, formerly known as Twitter: "Although the pitch at Ibrox is in good condition and ready to host the match, the severe weather conditions on the A9 prevented the visiting team from reaching Glasgow."
