During the opening of the 10th edition of the Ahmuj Tourism Festival, which was marked by good organization, Minister of Tourism Walid Nassar revealed that "the number of arrivals in Lebanon until yesterday reached 1.35 million, including 30% foreigners." He affirmed that "Lebanon has all the components that allow us to live in this country, invest in it, and work on its economic and financial development," emphasizing "the importance of applying administrative decentralization that contributes to the development of regions, thus building trust among the private sector to invest in every area, as they will know that the taxes and fees they pay will be reinvested in the same region." Nassar stated: "Despite the poor economic and living conditions we are experiencing in this country, starting from airport issues to infrastructure, electricity, and communications, Lebanese people love life and refuse to surrender. The diaspora is connected to their homeland and has decided to come back this summer to their country, the land of their children and ancestors, participating in many tourism festivals held in Lebanon."
