Cameron in Oman Today to Discuss Middle East De-Escalation

The British Foreign Office announced today that "Minister David Cameron will travel to Oman today, where he is expected to call for stability amid the ongoing Houthi attacks in the Red Sea and to calm tensions in the Middle East," according to Reuters. During his fourth visit to the Middle East, Cameron will meet with his Omani counterpart, Badr al-Busaidi, to discuss ways to reduce tension in the region. It emphasized that "Cameron will reaffirm Britain's commitment to delivering aid to Yemen and will outline the measures being taken by Britain to deter the Houthis from targeting ships in the Red Sea."
