Danish prosecutors announced today, Friday, the remanding of two individuals in custody on suspicion of "involvement in a conspiracy to carry out a terrorist attack, while the police are searching for four other suspects." A unit of the Copenhagen police prosecutor stated that "the court has ordered the pre-trial detention of the four suspects being sought, which means they will be held immediately upon their discovery." Authorities in Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands arrested a total of seven individuals yesterday, Thursday, including four suspected of belonging to Hamas, on suspicion of planning attacks on Jewish institutions in Europe. It remains unclear whether there is a connection between the arrests in the three countries.
