Return of the Women's National Team to Beirut: Halabi Praises the Players' Sense of Responsibility

The Lebanese women's basketball team returned from Australia after participating in the Asia Cup, successfully maintaining their status among the elite countries (level one) in the Asian and Oceanian regions. They were welcomed at the VIP lounge of Rafic Hariri International Airport by Akram Halabi, the first deputy president of the Asian Basketball Confederation and president of the Lebanese Basketball Federation, Dr. Raja Labaki representing the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. George Kallas, Secretary-General of the Federation, attorney Charbel Michal Rizk, Director of National Teams and Federation member Ghazi Bustani, Chairman of the Courts Committee and Federation member Eli Khalil, the players' families, and members of the press and media.

Upon the delegation's entry into the VIP lounge amidst applause from the attendees, Halabi delivered a brief speech congratulating the women of the Cedar Nation for remaining among the elite countries in the Asian and Oceanian regions. He highlighted the high sense of responsibility exhibited by the players during the significant continental event, adding that Lebanese basketball continues to elevate Lebanon's name in international arenas.
