Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz called on Saturday for a "change of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) to an agency that dedicates itself to real peace and development," following allegations of involvement by its staff in the Hamas attack on October 7. He urged countries in a post on X platform to "follow the example of the United States, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Finland, which have suspended their funding to UNRWA."
