Germany Urges Israel to Protect Palestinians in the West Bank

A spokesperson for the German Foreign Ministry highlighted today, Monday, that "Israel must ensure the safety of Palestinians in the West Bank from violence by extremist settlers, following the recent killings and displacement of many Palestinians in the area." The spokesperson stated: "It should be ensured that Palestinian families can remain where they have lived for decades, and that they should not have to flee from their ancestral homes out of fear for the safety of their members or from serious injuries," warning that "there are indications that such violence is increasing."
