"Harassment of Minors"... Father Joseph Al-Bisri Banned from Priesthood

A decision has been issued by the Maronite Archdiocese of Tripoli prohibiting Father Joseph Al-Bisri from engaging in any priestly and public pastoral activities for an unspecified additional period, during which he will be subject to the procedures imposed by church laws. It is noteworthy that Father Joseph Al-Bisri committed acts of harassment against several minor children in the town of Qbyat while holding priestly and educational positions at the Sacred Hearts School. He filmed and extorted them, prompting the Archdiocese of Tripoli's secretariat to issue a statement regarding the case.
