The Qatari News Agency reported today, Wednesday, that the country's general budget for 2024 has been set based on an average oil price of $60 per barrel, compared to $65 per barrel in 2023. The agency indicated that the total expected revenues for the 2024 budget amount to 202 billion Qatari riyals ($53.84 billion), while total spending is projected at 200.9 billion riyals. Consequently, the expected deficit for 2024 is approximately 6.2 billion riyals.
