Today, Thursday, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum met with King Charles III of Britain on the sidelines of the COP28 climate change conference, hosted by the UAE until December 12, 2023, in Expo City, Dubai. Al Maktoum expressed his appreciation for His Majesty's contributions in addressing the impacts of climate change, highlighting discussions on ways to enhance cooperation in advancing international efforts to reduce emissions and achieve climate neutrality. The conversation also emphasized encouraging practices that balance current global development needs while building a sustainable future for the coming generations. King Charles is scheduled to deliver the opening speech at the Global Climate Action Summit, taking place tomorrow, Friday, as part of the COP28 agenda.
