Qatar's Finance Minister: This is What the Gaza War Has Caused

Qatar's Finance Minister Ali Al-Kuwari pointed out that "the war in Gaza will cause damage to economies across the Middle East if it is not resolved" and emphasized the need to reach a non-military solution. The minister explained that "the real way lies in seeking a permanent solution to the main issue in the Middle East, which is the Palestinian crisis... and this cannot be solved through military action." Al-Kuwari anticipated that "Qatar will achieve a financial surplus again this year, although to a lesser extent, as it set a very conservative oil price at $60 per barrel, and the country will achieve a larger surplus if prices remain at the current levels of $78."
