Real Madrid has set out two scenarios to finalize the transfer of Moroccan player Achraf Hakimi from Paris Saint-Germain. The Athletic reported that the club's management is considering acquiring Hakimi in a manner similar to how they attracted Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich.
The first scenario involves moving to sign the Moroccan player at a reasonable price in the summer of 2025, one year before the expiration of his current contract with Paris. The second option is to wait until Hakimi's contract ends in the summer of 2026 and sign him on a free transfer.
Achraf Hakimi joined Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2021 from Inter Milan for a fee of 60 million euros. The Moroccan player progressed through Real Madrid's youth system, making his first-team debut in late 2017 before being loaned to Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2018.
