The Palestinian National Security Forces in the Sidon area issued a statement denying "the news that circulated under its name on social media, which suggested a deadline from 6 a.m. for armed individuals to leave the schools in Ain al-Hilweh, stating that any armed person encountered after this deadline would be dealt with." They clarified that "any statement or news released by Fatah movement and the national security in the Sidon area must come through their official media."
