Saudi Arabia and Canada Agree to Resume Trade Delegation Exchange

Saudi television reported today, Thursday, that "the Kingdom has agreed with Canada to resume the exchange of trade delegations after five years of suspension, following the restoration of full diplomatic relations between the two countries last year." The television stated that "the Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce signed an agreement with the Canadian side to form a joint Saudi-Canadian Business Council." According to official data, Saudi Arabia was Canada's largest export market in the region in 2021, with total exports valued at 2.2 billion Canadian dollars (1.65 billion US dollars).
