Mohsen Rezaee, the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, has emphasized that Tehran views Lebanon's security as integral to the security of the entire West Asian region.
He stated that the southern suburb of Beirut represents a red line for Iran. Regarding any potential agreement with the United States, Rezaee clarified that Tehran has set several conditions, foremost among them being the cessation of wars in West Asia, particularly in Lebanon, the withdrawal of Israel from Lebanese territories it has occupied, and the end of the war in Gaza along with halting Israeli attacks on Syria.
He further asserted that both the southern suburb and Beirut are red lines for Iran, stressing that Tehran closely monitors developments in these areas. He concluded that Israel will eventually have to withdraw from the Lebanese territories it has entered.
