Israeli warplanes conducted an airstrike around 3:15 PM on the outskirts of Aitaroun in the Bent Jbeil district, launching several missiles whose explosions reverberated throughout the Bent Jbeil area. This coincided with artillery shelling that targeted residential areas in Aitaroun, originating from Israeli army positions. In response, the media arm of "Hezbollah" announced that its fighters targeted the "Rweisat al-Alam site in the Kfarshouba Hills and the occupied Shebaa Farms with missile weapons, achieving a direct hit." For its part, the Israeli army stated that "the Shebaa Farms area was subjected to a rocket projectile from Lebanon, and artillery returned fire to the sources of the fire."
