Saudi Al-Hilal Football Club officially announced today, Wednesday, its signing of Brazilian player Renan Lodi from French club Marseille, making him the first transfer for the club in the current winter transfer market. The official Al-Hilal account posted photos and a video on X social media platform introducing Renan Lodi as a new player for the blue team, with a contract lasting three and a half seasons, until 2027.
Renan Lodi expressed his excitement in his introductory video as a new Al-Hilal player, saying: "I'm thrilled, excited, eager, heading to Saudi Arabia... towards Al-Hilal."
The 25-year-old left-back, Renan Lodi, previously played for Brazilian clubs Atletico Paranaense, Spanish club Atletico Madrid, and English club Nottingham Forest.
Al-Hilal currently holds the top position in the "Roshn" Professional League table, with 53 points accumulated from 19 rounds, achieving 17 wins and two draws.
