Wolverhampton Wanderers continued their impressive home form with a 2-1 victory over Chelsea in the English Premier League on Sunday. Mario Lemina and Matt Doherty scored in the second half. Lemina headed the ball in from a corner taken by Pablo Sarabia just six minutes after the break to give Wolverhampton the lead, and Doherty secured the win with a second goal in stoppage time. Christopher Nkunku scored a consolation goal for Chelsea, marking his first goal with the London club since his transfer at the start of the season, but coach Mauricio Pochettino's team could not find the equalizer, suffering their eighth loss in the league this season. The victory pushed Wolverhampton up to 11th place, level on points with Chelsea in 10th, both teams having 22 points, but Wolverhampton is behind on goal difference.
