Diana Karazon and Wael Kfoury Conclude Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts

The Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts has concluded its 37th edition, which lasted for 11 days under the slogan "And the Joy Continues," with participation from nearly two thousand guests from inside and outside Jordan. The festival wrapped up its artistic activities today, Saturday, with a performance by Jordanian artist Diana Karazon on the Southern Theatre, followed by a concert by Lebanese singer Wael Kfoury.

Jordanian artist Eissa Al-Saqar held a concert at the Northern Theatre, while the melodies of the oud duo Ghassan and Dina from Syria and Egypt filled the Royal Cultural Center in the capital, Amman.

In a statement on the occasion of the festival's conclusion, Jordan's Minister of Culture Haifa Najjar noted that "this edition was characterized by the density and variety of its programs and the number of participants in terms of individuals and countries. The artistic and cultural program was not limited to the archaeological city but extended to several other Jordanian cities." She also expressed appreciation for the guest of honor, the Arab Republic of Egypt, for its effective contribution that enriched the festival's program with its rich heritage and beautiful arts.

The festival program included 343 events across the Northern and Southern theatres, the Columns Street, Artemis Theatre, Sound and Light Theatre, Odeon Theatre, Royal Cultural Center, and Abdali Boulevard Theatre.
