Israel Targets the Only Psychiatric Hospital in Gaza

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported today, Monday, that Israeli warplanes targeted the only psychiatric hospital in the sector. The Gaza Psychiatric Hospital is a government facility specializing in mental health services, located in the Nasser neighborhood of Gaza City on Al-Oyoun Street. It was established in 1980 and serves all areas and governorates of the Gaza Strip, being the only specialized hospital in the field of mental health in the sector. This comes following the announcement from the Ministry of Health in Gaza that at least 200 people were killed in the intense Israeli bombardment carried out by Israeli forces during the night on the Gaza Strip, noting that this toll includes only Gaza City and northern areas of the sector.
