Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the second edition of the Saudi Games 2023 will take place from November 25 to December 10, 2023, in the capital, Riyadh. Athletes will compete in 53 individual and team sports, including 6 sports designated for Paralympic sports, 4 demonstration sports, and 12 sports in the Saudi Youth Games. Saudi Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki stated that "holding the Saudi Games for the second consecutive year reflects the achievement of the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in supporting its people and working to build a generation that raises the Kingdom's name high in international forums." The Saudi Games is the largest national sporting event in the history of the Kingdom, with participating athletes competing for a total prize pool exceeding 200 million riyals. The gold medalist will receive one million riyals, the silver medalist 300,000 riyals, and the bronze medalist 100,000 riyals. Meanwhile, the gold medalist in the youth category will receive 100,000 riyals, the silver 50,000 riyals, and the bronze 25,000 riyals.
