Arrest of 14 Pro-Palestine Protesters After Storming Minnesota Governor's Residence

The Minnesota state police arrested 14 pro-Palestine protesters who managed to break into the residence of Governor Tim Walz in the state capital, St. Paul, according to "Russia Today." The intruders, consisting of 12 women and 2 men, were part of a group of over 100 protesters who came to demonstrate against state legislators' intent to redirect additional investments from Minnesota pension funds to Israel.

The Minnesota State Patrol stated that "approximately 100 people gathered outside the Eastcliff mansion on the Mississippi River," noting that "shortly before 5:30 PM, 12 women and 2 men climbed the fence surrounding Eastcliff, where Walz and his family live, while the governor's official residence on Summit Avenue is undergoing renovations."

One of the protest organizers said, "Any investment in companies doing business in Israel strengthens the Israeli community and expands the colonial project of genocide that is Israel. I don't think retirees would want their money in these investments if they knew where it was being invested."
