Witnesses from the city of Nabatieh reported that drones, which they photographed shortly before the targeting operation, pursued the targeted vehicle in the Al-Bayyad neighborhood in Nabatieh. They initially failed to hit the vehicle, as the missile landed in an open area. The drones followed them until they reached the Al-Sabah statue, where the vehicle stopped due to traffic congestion. The occupants were able to jump out before it was targeted by a missile that hit it from the side, resulting in the vehicle's burning, the death of Hezbollah official Haj Abdullah, and the injury of two young men who were with him.
